MVP<\/strong> is a product in minimum, working form<\/strong>, with one or more key features that give the user real value<\/strong> and allow verify the hypothesis:<\/strong> Whether people need it and are willing to use it (or pay for it).<\/p>\n

It's not about a \u201esemi-finished product\u201d or a mere prototype. It's about the bare minimum that makes sense in the hands of the user.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cheaper and faster<\/strong> than after a year of \u201efull\u201d construction.<\/p>\n

A real-life example. B2B: one report instead of a dashboard:<\/strong> Selling company sales analysis tool<\/strong> for small stores wanted a \u201edashboard with 10 views and alerts\u201d right away. Instead, they did MVP:<\/strong> every week the customer gets one email with excel attachment<\/strong>, a single report (e.g., top 20 products, week-over-week trends). They implemented this at three test companies<\/strong> for 2 months. Two of them said: \u201eGreat, but we still need X and Y in this report.\u201d One: \u201eExcel is not enough, I want it in the browser.\u201d Based on this<\/strong> They defined the first real module: a browser report + those two things (X, Y).
