APP Smart Control is a modern, scalable mobile application designed for easy and secure remote management of heating systems. The project combines a simple user interface with advanced technologies, enabling precise temperature control in private, industrial, and public buildings.

Identifying client needs

  • The first step was a thorough understanding of the clientโ€™s expectations. The client owns heating systems in various facilities โ€“ from private to industrial. We focused on analyzing the problem of temperature regulation so that it could be managed remotely and intuitively. The key requirements were: ease of use, a clear interface, and effective notifications. Additionally, the client needed a scalable application that could be expanded with new features in the future.

Application development

  • For development, we used Flutter, which allowed us to build a single application running on both Android and iOS. The backend of the application was based on Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring stability and scalability as the number of users grows. We paid special attention to UX/UI, designing a simple interface that enables users to quickly find necessary functions. At this stage, we also implemented a Google account login module to simplify access and configuration.

Deployment and testing

  • During deployment, we focused on conducting functional, performance, and security tests. The application was submitted to the App Store and Google Play, allowing the client to make it available to end users quickly. A key part of testing included simulations in large facilities, where maintaining the correct temperature is critical. The gathered results helped us refine the notification and temperature alarm system.
Duration and Technologies The development process lasted approximately 3 months and included UX/UI design, Flutter app programming, and comprehensive testing. The backend was built on AWS cloud, with Firebase used for notifications. The app enables remote temperature control with real-time alerts and is prepared for future expansion with additional smart home features Work Stages and Key Features During the 12-week cycle, an intuitive, cross-platform app was created using Flutter and AWS. Key features include Google account login, temperature monitoring, and customizable alerts. The solution is scalable and ready for future development, such as AI-driven energy optimization and multi-location support. Design Approach and Future Growth The project was completed in three months, combining a user-centered design approach with modern technologies like Flutter and AWS backend. Focus was on smooth control of heating systems and push notifications, while maintaining a simple interface. We also ensured easy integration with additional smart home systems and feature expansion.
