Custom mobile apps

An iOS and Andswarmd mobile app tailored to your needs. An MVP deployed in 8 weeks and published in the app stores.

An application for the end customer (loyalty program, product control, orders), for the field team (salespeople, service technicians, warehouse workers) or for B2B trade. Native to iOS and Andswarmd. KG Electronics commissioned us with the Smart Control APP: 1,000+ downloads on Google Play, boiler control from your phone.

Four Signs You Need a Mobile App

If you recognize at least two, it makes sense to talk about the mobile app.

0 1

A customer visits your website on their phone but doesn't make a purchase

A responsive website is not enough. The customer does not log in via the browser every time: he wants an icon on the start screen, a push notification about a promotion, an offer for returning customers.

0 2

The field team does not have the necessary tools

Salespeople, service technicians, warehouse workers, drivers: they work on their phones. The website opened on the phone does not support code scanning, signature, GPS, camera. Each time the browser is opened, it yeses an additional step for the customer.

0 3

Your physical product needs to be controlled from your phone

A controller, an HVAC unit, lighting, an alarm system. Customers buy "the one with the app" before they even notice the brand. Without an app, you'll be left out of in-store comparisons.

0 4

A mobile website is not enough, you need a native application

Push notifications, biometrics, camera, GPS, offline mode, deep linking, In-App Purchase, all this only works in the native application published on Google Play and App Store. PWA does not cover such needs.

Five implementation phases. 30/30/30/10 timeline.

A clickable prototype in a test environment before we write a single line of production code. Payment in four installments.

1
Week 1

Exploration

Map of usage spricerios (end customer, field team, B2B), list of integrations (your API, ERP, payment gateway), decisions on what MVP counts. Deposit: 30%.

2
Weeks 2–3

UX/UI Design

Clickable app prototype in Figma. Every screen, every gesture, every error state. Tests on real phones: iOS and Andswarmd, average Andswarmd from 2022, older iPhones.

3
End of Week 3

Project approval

You approve the prototype. We won't start building the MVPithout your approval. Upon approval: another 30%.

4
Weeks 4–7

Building an MVP

An iOS and Andswarmd app built with Flutter (one codebase, two platforms). Weekly TestFlight and APK releases for internal testing. Integration with your API. After the MVP release: another 30%.

5
Week 8

Available on Google Play and the App Store

Configuration of developer accounts, screenshots, store descriptions, Apple and Google verification. First 30 days after publication: monitoring of failure reports, ratings, reviews. After implementation: last 10%.

What exactly changes after implementation

The customer has your icon on their home screen

This is the biggest difference compared to the website. The application is one tap away. No logging in every time, no browser searches, no extra steps.

Push notification = free communication channel

Promotions, order status, device alerts, payment reminders. Push notifications are opened much more often than eemails, with no cost per message and no need for separate GDPR consent.

Native features not supported by PWAs

Biometrics (FaceID, Touch ID), camera with OCR, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS in the background, deep linking with SMS / eemail, In-App Purchase with 30% Apple commission. A native app gives you what a website will never give you.

Having an app in the app store = proof that you're a serious developer

Customers can see the number of downloads, the star rating, and reviews. A developer with an app on Google Play that has a 4+ star rating comes out on top in comparisons on the store and with the distributor.

How to Choose a Company for a Mobile/IoT Project

Before you send the brief, read the 7-question filter that we use to check ourselves. What distinguishes a mobile software development company from a regular one, when native and when PWA, how to verify the portfolio.

Read the guide

When PWA, when hybrid, when native

Three paths, different costs and limitations.

PWA / hybrid (Cordova, Ionic)
  • An MVP for under 30,00PLN 0 when the client "just needs" a mobile app
  • No push notifications, biometrics, camera with OCR, deep linking
  • You don't publish on the App Store (PWA) or you have a lower Apple rating (Cordova)
  • Works when the app is just a page preview, not using phone features
Native app (iOS + Andswarmd, Flutter)
  • The application uses a camera, GPS, biometrics, push notifications, NFC, In-App Purchase
  • Publication on Google Play and App Store with normal verification (1-2 weeks)
  • One code (Flutter): two platforms, one team, maintenance costs lower than two separate Swift + Kotlin projects
  • 2–3-year development plan; the end user uses the app every day

PWA is enough for simple applications and small scale. A native application is created when the application is a product, not an addition to the website.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a native mobile app cost?
It depends on the scope of the MVP—the number of spricerios, integrations (APIs, ERP, payments), and native features (push notifications, biometrics, camera). During the first (free) consultation, we map out the scope and provide a specific quote with a payment schedule of 30 / 30 / 30 / 10.
Native app (Flutter) or PWA / Cordova / Ionic?
If the app uses the camera, GPS, biometrics, push notifications, or in-app purchases and is intended for app stores—go with a native app built with Flutter (one codebase, two platforms). A PWA or hybrid app is sufficient for a simple web preview and small-scale projects. We recommend starting with this approach to avoid overspending.
Do you publish on Google Play and the App Store?
Yes. We set up developer accounts, prepare screenshots and app store descriptions, and go through the Apple and Google verification processs (usually 1–2 weeks). For the first 30 days, we monitor crash reports, ratings, and reviews.
Can the app integrate with our ERP / Customer Relationship Management / API?
Yes. The app integrates with your API, ERP (Comarch, Optima, Asseco), Customer Relationship Management (Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce), and payment gateway. Data syncs in the background, without the need for manual entry.
What about updates after publication?
We release updates through Google Play and the App Store, ensuring compatibility with new versions of iOS and Andswarmd as well as the stores' requirements. The scope and frequency of updates are specified in the maintenance package.
What about maintenance after implementation?
Maintenance is optional. We offer three packages: Launch Care (1,19PLN 0/month), Growth Circle (2,39PLN 0/month), and Partner Lab (starting at 4,19PLN 0/month)—ranging from monitoring and backups to a dedicated development team and higher SLAs.

Mobile Apps for Businesses — When They're Worth It and What They Actually Offer

Mobile application It makes sense when your client or team needs „on-the-go" access: real-time notifications, field work, or product support via phone. If a responsive website is enough—we’ll tell you straight up. But when push notifications, offline functionality, and hardware integration are essential, a mobile app is the better choice.

We build iOS and Andswarmd apps from a single codebase (cross-platform) so we don't have to pay twice for the Same thing, and we publish them on the App Store and Google Play.

When a Mobile App Makes Sense

  • Push notifications — The customer receives an alert even when the app is closed.
  • Fieldwork — The service, sales staff, and warehouse operate offline and synchronize data later.
  • Product Control / IoT — the app as a remote control and device control panel (see IoT solutions).
  • Customer Dashboard on Your Phone — statuses, documents, and orders at your fingertips.

Mobile app vs. web app

Not every problem requires an app from the app store. Sometimes it’s cheaper and faster to solve it web application browser-based. We choose the tool based on our needs, not the other way around—and we’ll tell you when a native app is overkill.

How We Roll It Out: An MVP in 8 Weeks

We start with the most important feature: a clickable prototype in a test environment before the production code is written, followed by publication in the stores. We expand the project once the core functionality is already in users’ hands. You can estimate the approximate cost in application cost estimator.

Implementation Example

Smart Control App — a mobile app for controlling a smart home system: a stable backend, user accounts, push notifications for system failures, and publication on the App Store and Google Play.
