The Best Product Configurators of 2026: A Ranking of 27 Tools from the Company That Builds Them

An unbiased ranking of 27 product configurators for 2026: from enterprise Configure, Price, Quote (Epicor, TaCTOn) to Polish solutions (JSON Crew, Variantic, Flowdog). A decision tree for 6 spricerios and price ranges.

Typee “best product configurators 2026” into Google and see how many of the top 10 results are actually a ranking.

You’ll find two. Maybe three. The rest are AI-generated articles that have never actually implemented a configurator themselves. What’s more, the authors don’t know why Epicor costs $500,000 to implement, while Zakeke costs $19 a month. In particular, they haven’t seen how an agricultural machinery manufacturer tries to cram a 136-page price list into Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote and, by the third month, feels like setting their laptop on fire.

Meanwhile, we have built three production configurators for Polish compaNos (Akpil, Forest, Metal Roofing). In addition, we serve ten compaNos on our JSON Hub platform. We also know Epicor and TaCTOn implementation specialists in Poland, and as a result, we have discussed actual costs with them. That is why we know where Odoo It works fine, but it breaks down after six months.

Specifically, we conducted an audit 27 tools in 6 categories, i.e. from enterprise Configure, Price, Quote for PLN 2 million a year to Polish SaaS solutions for PLN 20,000. Here is the ranking where JSON Crew is honestly positioned where it fits (Polish SME market). However, where it does not fit, we will say it directly.

  • 27 tools across 5 tiers: EnterpriseConfigure, Price, Quote (TaCTOn, Configure One, Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote), for compaNos with 500+ employees; 3D Visual Configurators, for e-commerce; Open Source/platform-based, for IT teams; Proposal Configurators, for quotes; AI-enhanced/no-code Configure, Price, Quote, trend 2026.
  • There is no single "best" configurator. The choice depends on the size of your company, your budget, the systems you use (ERP, PIM), and whether you need 3D visualization or automation of quotation documents.
  • The Polish marketThis is where Polish manufacturing compaNos most often end up. An overview of local tools and global ones with Polish support.
  • When a custom configurator beats a ready-made Configure, Price, Quote: when pricing rules are unusual, ERP integrations require custom logsc, or you need full control over the user experience and results in the browser.

Product Configurator It is an online tool that allows B2B or B2C customers to configure a product themselves (variants, colors, accessories, specifications) and see the price immediately. Unlike enterprise Configure, Price, Quote (an internal system for sales representatives), a product configurator is typically hosted on a website and supports end-customer self-service.

The best product configurators of 2026 do not exist as a single tool

There is no such thing as the “best configurator of 2026.” There is a configurator tailored to YOUR specific situation—your product, budget, scale, and team. Anyone who tries to sell you a one-size-fits-all solution is selling you a load of nonsense.

The first fallacy of most rankings: they suggest that there is a single tool that works equally well for a furniture store with 300 upholstery options, a machine manufacturer that uses CAD in its production process, and a recycling center with 15 different types of equipment.

Well, it just doesn’t work. A configurator that’s a winner in the furniture industry falls short when it comes to machinery. Meanwhile, a Configure, Price, Quote solution that’s brilliant for enterprise-level use with Salesforce blows a 30-person company’s budget. And a SaaS platform that handles 200 variants chokes when faced with 20,000.

Before you look at any rankings, ask yourself these 5 questions:

  1. Budget – Up to 30,00PLN 0, between 30,000 and 100,00PLN 0, or over 100,00PLN 0 per year?
  2. Range of options – a dozen or so, hundreds, or tens of thousands of combinations?
  3. Product type – simple parametric (select color, size), 3D visual (rotate, customize), or complex B2B (engineering rules, BOM, CAD)?
  4. IT Stack – Do you already have an ERP system (Comarch, SAP, Odoo), use Salesforce, or are you starting from scratch?
  5. Who operates the configurator? – A salesperson talking to a customer, or the customer browsing the website on their own without your help?

Yesing two minutes to honestly answer these questions will save you six months of poor implementation. If you’re not sure which tier of tools is right for you, read this first pillar on configurators i article on prices. Come back here later.

Now—27 tools across 6 categories. First, here’s the complete table in one place (so you can find your tool right away), followed by detailed descriptions of each one.

What are the best product configurators in 2026?

The table has been split up for clarity. Below are detailed descriptions of each tool, including their strengths, weaknesses, and who they are best suited for.

Tier 1: EnterpriseConfigure, Price, Quote (for compaNos with 500+ employees)

First and foremost, this is a tier where the license fee is at least $100 per user per month, implementation starts at $50,000, and the project yeses 6–12 months. As a result, the return on investment is measured in years, not months.

When NOT to enter this tier:

  • Your annual revenue is less than 50 million PLN
  • You have fewer than 50 salespeople
  • Your product has less than 1,000 variants
  • You don't have a dedicated Configure, Price, Quote admin on the implementation side

1. EpicorConfigure, Price, Quote (formerly KBMax) – manufacturer of CAD machines

Most often chosen by compaNos with a design process in SolidWorks or Inventor. Thanks to this, the configurator automatically generates CAD, technical drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials) from one customer selection. Rate G2: 89 percent, one of the highest in the segment.

  • Price: from USD 100/user/month + implementation PLN 50-200 thousand. USD
  • Best for: machinery, custom furniture, CAD-in-process manufacturers
  • Disadvantage: expensive, 6-12 months of implementation, requires a dedicated admin
  • PL: Todis partner (Warsaw)

2. TaCTOn Configure, Price, Quote – heavy industry, thousands of variants

Constraint-based configuration: AI solves configuration equations for 10,000+ variants. In practice, used by automotive, machinery and heavy industry. The G2 rating is 87 percent.

  • Price: USD 100-500/user/month, license ~200,000. USD+/year
  • Best for: industrial equipment manufacturers with 1000+ variants
  • Disadvantage: steep learning curve, modeling requires a consultant

3. Configure One Cloud (Revalize)

Faster implementation than Epicor (3-6 months), but weaker UX. Still, a good compromise for the mid-market. G2: 85 percent.

  • Price: USD 150/user/month, minimum 10 users
  • Best for: mid-market manufacturing without the need for CAD automation

4. Salesforce Revenue Cloud (Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote – EOS in 2025)

If the company is on Salesforce, it makes sense. Otherwise there is no point. Additionally, in 2025, Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote is entering end of support, so everyone is migrating to Revenue Cloud Advanced ($200/user/month). As a result, G2 dropped to 82 percent after migration.

  • Price: $200/user/month Revenue Cloud Advanced
  • Best for: compaNos already on Salesforce, quote-to-cash end-to-end
  • PL: Craftware, Nextrope, Cloudity as partners

5. Oracle Configure, Price, Quote Cloud

The cheapest enterprise per seat ($30-50/user/month), but implementation costs $100-500 thousand. Therefore, it is mainly good for compaNos with Oracle ERP, and the rest should be given up.

  • Best for: Oracle compaNos (JD Edwards, NetSuite, E-Business Suite)
  • Minus: outdated UX (78% G2)

6. SAPConfigure, Price, Quote

It only makes sense for compaNos on SAP S/4HANA. Additionally, it offers native integration with SAP VC (variant configuration). Despite this, the implementation yeses 12+ months. G2: 75 percent.

7. Comarch ERP (Altum / XL / Optima) – Polish enterprise list

Comarch has a "Product Configurator" module in the Altum and XL packages. For Polish production and trading compaNos that are already working on Comarch ERP, is the simplest way: you deploy a module instead of migrating the entire stack. Implementation valuation: PLN 50-200 thousand plus user licenses.

  • Key feature: native integration with Comarch’s accounting, inventory management, Customer Relationship Management, and BI systems
  • Cons: 2010s-era UX, no 3D, available only in higher-tier packages
  • Best for: compaNos already using Comarch that are looking for a configurator without changing their ERP system

When Comarch isn't the right choice: If you don't already have Comarch, implementing an entire ERP system using a single configurator is a waste of money. It's easier to buy SaaS.

Tier 2: 3D Visual Configurators (for e-commerce and visual B2B)

A Categories dominated by manufacturers who sell what people need see – particularly furniture, jewelry, clothing, and personalized products. Additionally, this Categories is expected to see the fastest growth in market adoption between 2024 and 2026.

8. Threekit – Premium 3D for large e-commerce sites

The flagship product in this Categories. First and foremost, Virtual Photographer generates millions of renders from a single 3D model. It also supports AR (iOS). Used by Crate & Barrel, Herman Miller, and Pottery Barn.

  • Price: starting at $500/month (Starter plan); $3,000–$10,000/month (Enterprise plan)
  • Best for: e-commerce sites with a large visual catalog (furniture, fashion, jewelry)
  • Downside: no partner in Poland, self-service

9. Zakeke – 3D for Shopify SMB

The most affordable 3D solution on the market (USD 19–199/month). Plus, it’s low-code. G2: 91%, the highest rating in its Categories. Especially for Shopify/WooCommerce stores offering customization: engraving, printing, and print-on-demand.

  • Best for: SMBs using Shopify with simple customization
  • Cons: no rules engine, no pricing logsc for B2B

10. Vividworks – furniture and retail (IKEA-style)

3D room planner plus a bill of materials (BOM), plus integration with production. In practice, enterprise-level pricing (€30,000–80,000 per year). Used in particular by Ethan Allen.

11. Cylindo – photorealistic furniture

Niche specialization: premium furniture with over 100 upholstery options. Above all, CGI-quality, 360-degree views. Expensive, but unrivaled in its niche.

Tier 2b: Open Source and platform-based (for compaNos with an IT team)

If you have a development team or work with an open-source partner, this tier offers the most flexibility for the lowest licensing costs. In other words, you won’t be paying for a license, but rather for implementation and maintenance.

12. Pimcore – PIM and Configurator in one

An open-source PIM/DAM/configurator in a single stack (PHP/Symfony). Specifically, the Community Edition is free, while the Enterprise Edition is available upon request. In practice, implementation by a partner costs between 80,000 and 400,00PLN 0.

First and foremost, a certified partner Pimcore in Poland there is LemonMind (Cracow), as well as several other software compaNos. As a result, it performs well in e-commerce environments with 10,000+ SKUs in multiple languages.

  • Best for: medium and large e-commerce sites with a multilingual catalog
  • Downside: requires a team with PHP/Symfony expertise; not suitable for compaNos that want to "launch in a week"

13. Odoo Product Configurator

Open-source ERP is popular among Polish SMEs as a “cheaper alternative to SAP.” Specifically, the product configurator module is built into the Enterprise Edition (starting at 30 EUR per user per month), though it is also available as a separate module in the Community Edition. In practice, implementation by a partner costs between 30,000 and 100,00PLN 0.

There are several dozen partners in Poland, including Ventor, Tools4Gears, Dinero, and others.

  • Killer feature: configurator + MRP + inventory + Customer Relationship Management + invoices all in one database
  • Cons: The technical configurator's user experience (designed for employees, not customers), lack of 3D
  • Best for: manufacturing compaNos with 10–50 employees looking for an integrated open-source stack

Tier 3: Proposal / Document Configurators (Note: This is not a product configurator)

Here are the tools that look like a configurator, but they are not. Specifically, a product configurator builds a variant from parameters and rules. A proposal configurator, on the other hand, builds a proposal from blocks. It’s a fundamental difference, yet 90 percent of articles online confuse these categories.

Just to be clear: PandaDoc is great if you're selling services (consulting, SaaS, agency). However, if you sell product With its various options, PandaDoc cannot replace a configurator.

14. PandaDoc – the leader in the proposal Categories

Quote templates, pricing blocks, e-signatures, and analytics (so you know when a customer opens a quote). G2: 88 percent. Price: $35–$100+ per user per month.

15. Proposify – Beautiful Templates for Agentses

First and foremost, a drag-and-drop editor. G2: 84 percent. The price, however, ranges from $30 to $100+ per user per month.

16. Qwilr – interactive web-based suggestions

Not a PDF, but a web page with pricing tables and an ROI calculator. In practice, $35–$59 per user per month (Configure, Price, Quote tier).

17. Sellizer – the Polish equivalent of PandaDoc

First and foremost: a Polish product, Polish support, Polish invoices, and GDPR-compliant. Plus, starting at ~15PLN 0/user/month, with business plans up to ~1,00PLN 0/month. What’s more, you’ll receive alerts when a customer opens and reads an offer.

  • Integrations: Pipedrive, HubSpot, Livespace
  • Best for: Polish B2B compaNos looking for an interactive offering in Polish
  • Downside: a smaller library of templates than Qwilr, smaller scale

Disclaimer for all Tier 3: If you need to calculate product variants using rules, go to Tier 1, 2, or 5. If you need to generate a PDF quote with images and an e-signature, Tier 3 does it better and more affordably.

Tier 4: AI-enhanced / No-code Configure, Price, Quote (2026 trend)

A new Categories that emerged between 2024 and 2026. Instead of the traditional approach of “holding a three-day workshop with a consultant,” the tool uses AI to build a configurator based on your product description. As a result, implementation time is reduced from months to weeks.

18. DealHubConfigure, Price, Quote – Premium B2B SaaS

AI playbooks, a no-code configurator, and a DealRoom (virtual data room). G2: 92 percent, one of the highest scores in the entire ranking. However, the price of $500–$1,000 per user per month limits adoption.

19. PROS Smart Configure, Price, Quote – AI-powered pricing

It’s not so much a traditional configurator as a dynamic pricing tool. Specifically, the AI analyzes over 1,000 transactions and recommends the optimal price in real time. It’s particularly popular with airlines and manufacturers that use dynamic pricing.

20. Conga Configure, Price, Quote (formerly Apttus)

First and foremost, deep Salesforce integration, as well as CLM (contract lifecycle management). This is particularly relevant for Salesforce compaNos that use complex quoting.

Which product configurator is best for a company in Poland?

Here you’ll find solutions that don’t appear in G2 rankings (since they aren’t available globally), but which actually serve Polish businesses. Most importantly, they offer Polish-language support, support for the Polish currency, and GDPR compliance, as well as integrations with Comarch, Subiekt, and Odoo.

WHY IS IT USUALLY THIS TIER?

90 percent of Polish manufacturing compaNos actually choose from Tier 5

EnterpriseConfigure, Price, Quote isn't a good fit (too expensive). 3D SaaS isn't a good fit (no integration with Comarch/Subiekt). Proposal tools aren't a configurator. Here are tools built for your scale and your market.

21. Variantic – a Polish 3D SaaS company

A web-based 3D platform, Polish-language support, and integrations with Comarch and Subiekt. As a result, the SaaS price ranges from 5,000 to 15,00PLN 0 per month, plus implementation costs.

  • Best for: Polish furniture and component manufacturers looking for a SaaS solution with Polish-language support
  • Downside: a smaller library of integrations than global providers, less frequent updates

22. LemonMind – Pimcore in Poland

We are a certified Pimcore partner based in Cracow. We specialize in custom implementations based on Pimcore, combining PIM and a product configurator in a single solution. Project pricing ranges from 80,000 to 300,00PLN 0.

23. Webtom – Custom (Polish)

A software development company with experience in custom configurators for Polish SMEs. As a result, the cost per project ranges from 50,000 to 200,00PLN 0.

24. Flowdog – Polish SaaS process + configurator

First and foremost, a no-code configurator integrated with a process builder. Plus, Polish-language support, which enables quick implementation. In practice, a subscription model combined with implementation.

  • Best for: Polish B2B compaNos specializing in project-based sales
  • Downside: no advanced 3D

25. Shoper Configurator – the most affordable way to get started with e-commerce in Poland

If you already run a store on Shoper, you can add the configurator as a plugin or a custom feature for a small fee. Specifically, starting at ~10PLN 0/month for Shoper, plus the cost of the configurator. Additionally, Przelewy24, InPost, and Polish invoices are available right away.

  • Best for: Polish e-commerce SMBs with simple product variants (up to 50 options per product)
  • Downside: plugin-level; doesn't match Threekit/Zakeke in terms of UX

26. JSON Hub – configurator + Customer Relationship Management + project management all in one

Our SaaS platform for Polish SMEs. Specifically, a simple configurator (parameters, rules, dynamic pricing, and a website-based quote) plus Customer Relationship Management, and furthermore project management module in a single dashboard, with a single logsn, using a single database.

  • Price: from ~5,00PLN 0 (if you choose ready-made JSON Hub add-ons) to ~20,00PLN 0 (if we implement a simple dedicated configurator) + recurring JSON Hub subscription
  • Implementation: 2–4 weeks
  • Use case: Heat recovery center (select a heat recovery unit → view options), compaNos with a catalog of 5–200 models
  • Best for: SMEs with 5–30 employees, a simple product, a budget of less than 30,00PLN 0, and a need for a single system instead of three

The JSON Hub Math: Pipedrive + Zakeke + Trello = 20,00PLN 0 per year. For the Same price, you get a single dashboard with Customer Relationship Management, a configurator, and project management, instead of three separate logsns and three databases.

The downside of JSON Hub: complexity limit. However, for 10,000+ variants, advanced 3D, or custom business logsc, you’ll need a JSON Crew custom MVP.

27. JSON Crew – custom MVP (for greater scale and complexity)

When a company outgrows JSON Hub (more options, 3D, custom business logsc, integration with Comarch/SAP), we develop a custom MVP in 8 weeks. Specifically, the stack includes: Next.js 15, Three.js, Nest.js, and TypeeScript. This ensures that the source code remains the client’s property, resulting in zero vendor lock-in.

  • Price: 30,000–90,00PLN 0 (MVP) + 20,000–60,00PLN 0/year for maintenance
  • Implementation: 8 weeks
  • Case studies: Akpil (agricultural machinery, hundreds of parameters, pricing from days down to minutes), Forest (hunting firearms, configurator with technical validation), Metal Roofing (fences, roofs, facades, plus a virtual tour)
  • Best for: Polish SMEs and mid-market compaNos with complex products that want their own system without a SaaS license, advanced 3D capabilities, and integration with local ERP systems

A UNIQUE MIGRATION PATH

JSON Hub → JSON Crew custom (one team, seamless transition)

SMB starts with JSON Hub (from ~5,00PLN 0 for add-ons to ~20,00PLN 0 for a simple dedicated configurator), and the simple configurator is up and running within a month. When, after a year, the company enters new markets, adds variants, and needs 3D capabilities, we migrate it to the JSON Crew custom MVP. Same studio, Same team, zero data loss. We haven’t found another offering on the Polish market with this kind of growth path.

Decision tree – which configurator applies to you

Six common spricerios and a recommendation for each. If your situation doesn't fit any of them, write to us—we'll help you choose, even if we aren't the ones to do it.

First, a manufacturer of machinery using CAD in its production process, with revenue of over 100 million PLN and a sales team of over 50 people.
For you, the options are EpicorConfigure, Price, Quote (the best SolidWorks/Inventor automation) or TaCTOn (if you have 10,000+ variants). Don’t try to build a custom solution, because developing Epicor from scratch is a project that will cost 5–8 million PLN and yese two years.

Second, you're already using Comarch ERP, so you need a configurator for the Polish market.
In that case, use the Product Configurator module in Comarch Altum/XL. This is simpler than migrating to a different stack. Expect implementation costs of 50,000–200,00PLN 0.

Third spricerio: You sell furniture, jewelry, or personalized products on Shopify.
In this case, Zakeke is the best choice (if you’re on a tight budget), or Threekit (if your cart value is high and you need premium 3D). However, skip the Polish solutions in this spricerio, as the global ones offer a better user experience.

Option 4: A Polish manufacturing company with 10–30 employees, 20–200 product variants, and a budget of less than 30,00PLN 0.
JSON Hub is the perfect fit. You get a configurator, Customer Relationship Management, and project management all in one dashboard for the price that global vendors charge just for the configurator alone. If, on the other hand, you prefer to work with an independent software development company, consider Flowdog or Webtom.

Case 5: A Polish company with 30–100 employees, a complex product, requiring 3D modeling and ERP integration.
This is where the discussion of custom solutions begins. You can choose between JSON Crew, Webtom, and LemonMind (if using Pimcore). Alternatively, there’s Variantic if you prefer a SaaS solution with Polish-language support. At the Same time, avoid global SaaS providers, because integrating with Comarch/Subiekt will end up costing more than a full custom project.

In the last spricerio, you have an in-house IT team and want open-source software without recurring license fees.
In that case, go with Pimcore (if you have a large e-commerce catalog) or Odoo (if you want an ERP and a configurator in a single stack). Expect to pay between 80,000 and 300,00PLN 0 for implementation by a partner. This way, you’ll have zero licensing costs afterward.

Frequently Asked Questions – Frequently Asked Questions Before Choosing a Configurator

How much does it actually cost to implement a product configurator?

The price range is huge. Specifically, enterprise solutions (Epicor, TaCTOn): PLN 500,000 – PLN 2 million per year. Mid-market solutions (Configure One, Salesforce Revenue Cloud), on the other hand: PLN 200,000–500,000 in the first year. Meanwhile, 3D SaaS (Threekit, Zakeke): PLN 50,000–300,000 per year. Additionally, Polish custom solutions (JSON Crew, LemonMind, Webtom): PLN 30,000–200,000 for project + maintenance. Meanwhile, Polish SaaS (JSON Hub, Variantic, Flowdog): PLN 15,000–50,000 per year.

Full price breakdown: How much does the quote configurator cost?.

Custom or SaaS – which should you choose?

Rule: SaaS when you have a simple product and operate on a small scale. Custom when your product exceeds the capabilities of SaaS in terms of complexity or business requirements. With SaaS solutions (JSON Hub, Zakeke, Flowdog), you get them in 2–4 weeks, but you’re locked into the platform. With custom solutions (JSON Crew, LemonMind, Webtom), it yeses 8 weeks, but the code is yours to keep forever.

Full explanation: Custom configurator vs. Configure, Price, Quote vs. template.

Is it worth setting up a product configurator yourself (a plugin for Shoper or WooCommerce)?

For a simple catalog with 10–50 variants—yes. However, for complex rules, technical validation, PDF quote generation, and ERP integration—no. Namely, implementing the plugin yourself saves you 20,000–50,00PLN 0 upfront, but by the third month, you’ll be paying the Same amount to a consultant who rescues you from the chaos. A common spricerio in practice. More: 5 Challenges in Implementing a Configurator.

Is a Customer Relationship Management with custom fields a product configurator?

In our functional assessment, no. A classic Customer Relationship Management (e.g., Livespace) has simple custom fields in deals, but it lacks a rules engine, does not generate variants, and does not calculate dynamic pricing. If someone offers you any Customer Relationship Management as a “product configurator,” it’s worth verifying whether it actually has a rules engine with dependency validation, or just checkboxes in the deal card.

Does a Polish company need Epicor or TaCTOn?

In 90 percent of cases, no. Specifically, Epicor and TaCTOn are designed for manufacturers with a turnover of 50–500 million euros, using CAD processes, with 1,000+ product variants, and employing 50+ sales representatives. That’s why a mid-sized Polish company would be better off with a custom MVP (JSON Crew, Webtom) or SaaS (JSON Hub, Flowdog, Variantic) solution at 5–10 percent of the cost of Epicor.

What is the difference between JSON Hub and JSON Crew Custom?

First and foremost, JSON Hub is our SaaS platform. You get a simple configurator + Customer Relationship Management + project management module all in one dashboard, implemented in 2–4 weeks for approximately PLN 5,000 (if you choose ready-made JSON Hub add-ons) to approximately PLN 20,000 (if we build a simple custom configurator), plus a subscription. This makes it ideal for SMEs with 5–30 employees and a simple product (up to 200 variants).

On the other hand, JSON Crew Custom offers a fully custom MVP in 8 weeks (30,000–90,00PLN 0). Specifically, this is for when you need advanced 3D capabilities, 10,000+ variants, integration with Comarch/SAP, and especially your own business logsc or full control over the code. That’s why you start with JSON Hub and eventually upgrade to JSON Crew Custom. The result: the Same team, the Same database, and a seamless migration.

What's next?

If you’re in the process of choosing a configurator and none of the spricerios in the decision tree apply to your situation, please contact us. In that case, we’ll schedule a 30-minute introduCTOry call during which:

  • We’ll walk you through your product and sales process
  • We identify 2–3 tools that are actually a good fit (even if we aren't the ones using them)
  • We provide a budget range for each option

We don’t sell you a configuration tool you don’t need. If your situation calls for Epicor or Threekit, we’ll be upfront about it and recommend an implementation partner. However, if JSON Hub or a custom solution is a better fit, we’ll show you how it works for clients we already serve (Akpil, Forest, Metal Roofing, Recovery Center).

OPTION 1 · SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best product configurators in 2026?

There is no single “best” option. We’ve divided our ranking of 27 tools into 5 tiers: EnterpriseConfigure, Price, Quote (TaCTOn, Configure One, Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote) for large compaNos; 3D Visual Configurators (Threekit, Roomle, Cylindo) for e-commerce; Open Source / platform-based (e.g., Webflow + custom) for teams with developers; Proposal Configurators (PandaDoc, Quote-to-Cash) for quotes; AI-enhanced / no-code Configure, Price, Quote as a trend for 2026. The choice depends on the company’s size and budget (ranging from a few hundred PLN/month for SaaS to 30,000–90,00PLN 0 for a custom MVP).

TaCTOn or Configure One, what to choose?

Both are enterprise Configure, Price, Quote for compaNos with 500+ employees with budgets of 100k+ per year for licenses. TaCTOn has a stronger position in Europe and better integrations with SAP. Configure One (Revalize) has a strong advantage in the US and more flexible pricing rules. The decision is usually: what ERP you have (SAP → TaCTOn, Oracle/Microsoft → Configure One) and where you are geographically. For a Polish production company, both options are often overkill, check the Polish market (Tier 5 in the ranking) or custom.

How much does a ready-made SaaS configurator cost?

Ready-made SaaS ranges from ~ PLN 500/month (simple Cylindo-type configurators per product) by PLN 1-3 thousand. PLN/month (Threekit, Roomle for e-commerce) up to PLN 5-20 thousand. PLN/month (enterprise Configure, Price, Quote like Configure One). You need to add implementation (typically PLN 30,000-100,000 one-time for enterprises) plus integration. For comparison: custom MVP configurator in JSON Crew, from PLN 30,000. PLN one-time, without recurring subscription.

Custom configurator or ready-made SaaS?

Off-the-shelf SaaS is the better choice when you have standard pricing rules and don’t need deep integration with a Polish ERP system or custom logsc. Custom solutions win when the rules are non-standard (e.g., an agricultural machinery configurator with hundreds of parameters), you have a unique ERP system in Poland, you need full control over the UX, and you don’t want to pay recurring fees. ROI threshold: if SaaS costs 3,000+ PLN/month, a custom MVP pays for itself in 12–18 months.

Does the ranking include open-source tools?

Yes, in Tier 2b (Open Source and platform-based), we list tools based on open-source libraries (Three.js, Babylon.js, A-Frame) and SaaS platforms that allow for customization (e.g., Webflow + custom frontend). Open-source is an option only for compaNos with an IT team (frontend developer + DevOps); the lack of built-in support means that maintenance and security are your responsibility.

What kind of configurator is best for a manufacturing company in Poland?

For a Polish manufacturing company with a budget of up to 100,00PLN 0, we most often recommend Tier 5 (Polish market) or a custom solution. Polish tools offer local support, integration with Polish ERPs (Comarch, Asseco), and invoicing—features that enterprise Configure, Price, Quote systems treat as edge cases. A custom MVP (PLN 30,000–90,000) is the best choice when pricing rules are non-standard or you need integration with a manufacturing system that SaaS solutions don’t support. The initial conversation should start with “What ERP system, what scale, and how many variants?”
